Parochial church meeting: the annual parochial church meeting will take place on the Monday, April 3, at 7 PM, in the Mission Church. If you are on the church electoral roll and are interested in what is going on in the church come along and ask questions.

Soccer school: Sportsreach Soccer School takes place every Saturday from 9.30 to 11:30 AM at Sandhurst playing fields. Term time only. For more information phone the Baptist Church that organises the event on (01580) 850315.

Buses: it looks like the village will have a Sunday bank holiday bus service (349) for Easter Sunday, the Sunday preceding May Day spring bank holiday, and summer bank holiday weekend. The service will run from Hastings, Sandhurst, Hawkhurst. There are four outward and four return journeys. As soon as I have the times be put on the noticeboard in the village.

Wine tasting club: on Saturday, April 1, a tasting of port, white, rose, ruby, tawny and vintage wines will take place at Sandhurst social club, Back Road. £5 the members, £7 for non-members
