Richard Phillips: who is a part of village life, is to move from his home in Back Road to Hawkhurst just up the road. You can see that Richard is not in the best of health so perhaps the move will help. All the best to you Richard.

Good to report: that the village football club, who are in Division 4 of the Macron East Sussex Football League, are 7th from top. As I write this report, the club are in the next round of the Robertsbridge Charity Junior Cup.

The civic amenities refuse lorry: will be in the village on Saturday November 12 at Lomas lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green from 8.30am - 9am; Back Road, from 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close, from 10.25am - 11am.

Sandhurst Friendship Club: holds its Christmas Lunch at the Brickwall Hotel, Sedlescombe on December 9. Menu choices and names to Rosie on 01580 850433.

The act of remembrance for November 13 will be at 10.45am at the war memorial, followed by a remembrance service at the Mission Church at 11.15am.

The rector will take the church service and the Baptist Church will join the act of remembrance and after back at the church for morning worship at 11.15am.
