PCSO Spicer: The PCSO for Sandhurst, PCSO Robert Spicer can be contacted on 46054854 and the Police Surgery is on June 7 at the Old School, Back Road, from 11am - 12 noon.

Refuse lorry: The civic amenities refuse lorry will be in the village on Saturday May 28 at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green, from 8.30am - 9am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close, from 10,25am - 11am.

Baptist church: The services at the Baptist Church on Sunday May 29 take place at 10.30am and at 7pm. Pastor Ken will take the services. A coffee morning takes place on June 2 at 10.45am.

St Nicholas: David, the Rector of Sandhurst, will take the Benefice Family Eucharist service at St Nicholas on Sunday May 29 at 10am. For baptisms and wedding enquiries, contact David on 01580 240658 - Mobile 07710 416978.

Election results: The results for the Borough Council election for the village are - Beverley Palmer (Con) 844 votes; Russ Bishop (UKIP) 155 votes; Simon Fowler (Lab) 147 votes and Nancy Warne (Lib-Dem) 130 votes. Beverley Palmer was elected member of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council for Sandhurst.

Norman Willard: has died. Norman was one of the village’s senior residents for many years and was part of Relf, the building firm in the village, as well as being a good gardener. The funeral service has already taken place at St Nicholas Church, but people can make a donation to Cancer Research UK care of Waterhouse and Sons, High Street, Burwash, TN19 7ET.
