Refuse: The civic amenities refuse lorry will have only one visit in December and that will be on Saturday 13, due to the Christmas and New Year holidays. It will be at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green 8.30am - 9am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

Church: Carols on the Top Green take place on December 18 at 7pm and are led by the Salvation Army. They will be lit by Christmas tree lights and torches and there will be mulled wine and mince pies to follow. If the weather is bad it will be held in the Mission Church.

Friendship Club: The Friendship Club Christmas Lunch takes place on December 19 at 12.30pm at Merriments, Hurst Green. There will be no meeting in February but the AGM is on January 9 at 2.30pm in the Old School Hall.
