Wing walker: Amy, the granddaughter of Brian and Patricia Puxtey raised more than £1,000 when she did a wing-walk in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Many thanks to all who supported her.

Coffee morning: A coffee morning will take place from 10.30am - noon at 5 oak Forstal in aid of St Nicholas Church. Local GP Clive Dewing will be trekking up Kilimanjaro in October to raise funds for Starfish Malawi. This trip is entirely self-funded and all donations will go to the charity, if anyone would like to sponsor Clive they can do so through www.virginmoneygiving.com/clivedewing. Robert Max and friends will be performing works by Borodin, Amani, Henslet and others in aid of St Nicholas Church. Tickets from Gillian Davis on 01580 850384. It is a minimum donation of £15 to be split between Hospice in the Weald and St Nicholas Church. The event starts at 3pm.
