St Nicholas has been chosen as having the best churchyard for wildlife in Kent.

The church will receive an invitation to an awards ceremony from the Kent High Weald Partnership and from the Gofs Acre Project.

The mobile library is at Sandhurst Close every Tuesday from 12.30pm - 12.45pm, Tanyard from 1.55pm - 2.10pm, Old School from 2.15pm - 2.40pm and Linkhill, Lomas Lane, from 2.50pm - 3.05pm.

The Purpose Plate Lunch Club meets on the second Thursdat of the month throughout the year from noon - 2pm.

All are welcome and no invitiation is required.

The club started in September 2000 and takes place at Sandhurst Baptist Church.
