THE civic amenities refuse lorry is in the village on Saturday at Ringle Green from 8am - 8,25am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am, Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

The Sandhurst Twinning Association has been twinned since 1996 with Heuringhem, in Northern France. Now it needs new committee members.

Some people from Sandhurst go into Hawkhurst and catch bus service 304/305/254 to Hastings and Tunbridge Wells run by Countryliner is now run by Stagecoach, Hastings.

The other two or one day a week in Sandhurst are now run by Autocar but the main service 349 is still run by Stagecoach.

The funeral of former Sandhurst newsagent David Price takes place today (Friday) at 11am at St Nicholas Church, Sandhurst. Family flowers only or donations to Alzheimers.
