Sandhurst village voice

The village primary school holds its summer fair on Saturday May 19 from 11.30am - 2.30pm.There will be a pet’s corner, pony rides, a giant slide, dog show, barbecue and lots more.

The amenity refuse lorry will be in the village on Saturday at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green 8.30am - 9am; Back Road, 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard, 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close 10.25am - 11am.

The Citizen’s Advice Bus comes to the village on a Thursday from 1.30am - 2.30pm and parks in Back Road. Appointments are available on 01892 617256.

There is now a programme for the village Jubilee Celebrations on June 3.

There is a special church service at 11.15am at St Nicholas; a procession of floats at 12.30pm, with judging of the floats and fancy dress on the playing fields at 1.30pm.

A big Jubilee Lunch takes place from 2pm - 4pm with live entertainmnet from 2.30pm and a licensed bar.

There will also be a penalty shoot-out and much more.
