THE village football club has not had the best of seasons on the personal side. In fact you can say that for the past two seasons the club lost two football-mad people and you cannot forget what they put into the club. But perhaps the new season will be better both on and off the field for all.

Little Rainbows Mother and Toddler group meet every Friday mornings, 8.30-11.30am. Everyone welcome at Sandhurst Baptist Church, tea and coffee provided. For more information phone 01580 850446.

The village will have the normal collection day, Bank Holiday Monday, for the wheelie bins. But they must be out by 7am.

As part of the fundraising events for the Jubilee celebrations, two events are taking place. On May 5 at 11am to 3pm, Sandhurst Memories Old School and Wednesday May 9 at 6.30pm, Fun Run. For more information phone Lyn Hayes on 01580 850201.
