Santa replaces sleigh with boat in Arundel

SANTA will be ditching his trusty sleigh in favour for an elf-powered boat next month.

Christmas cheer will be coming to Wildlife and Wetlands Trust (WWT) at the Arundel Wetland Centre.

Father Christmas and his merry band of helpers will be visiting the town’s attraction, in Mill Road, on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8.

The festive crew will be offering gentle boat rides through the reedbeds along the River Arun.

The weekend event will also see a frosty grotto set up for young guests to visit Santa and tell him what they would like for Christmas.

Tickets for the boat ride are £5 per child. This does not include admission to the wetland centre.

Advance tickets are on sale for boat departure time slots, so booking is essential.
