Saturday - Motorist killed in two-car crash

A man has died following a car crash in East Sussex in which a car crossed the central reservation of a road.

The Jaguar X-type car crossed onto the northbound side of the A21 at John's Cross, near Hastings, on Friday night, colliding with a Ford Escort car.

The 28-year-old driver of the Jaguar died, while three people, including a three-year-old girl, travelling in the other car were injured.

Any witnesses to the accident, at about 1900 GMT, are asked to call police.
