Scary walk illuminates Horsham’s darker past

A macrabre local history guided walk will highlight Horsham’s less illustrious past tomorrow (Saturday September 13).

Called ‘The Dark Side of Horsham’, the walk includes bygone burial practices, public executions and the notorious town jails.

All will be revealed to the unsqueamish at 7.30pm when the walk starts outside Horsham Library, Lower Tanbridge Way.

Admission is £8 for an adult, £5 for accompanied child, payable on the night.

Reservations are not necessary and duration is approximately one hour and 20 minutes.

Dogs on short leads are permitted and the route is wheelchair accessible.
