The DIY SOS programme offers a group of unemployed and low waged volunteers the opportunity to learn DIY and decorating skills over a five week community course. They meet in local community venues and learn tips and techniques they can use at home and to gain employment.

Working at Camber Memorial Hall they redecorated all public areas in the doctor’s surgery; repaired and painted stage stairs and transformed the stage and storage area floors in the hall.
