School brings books to life

Parents came in to read with the children and they were able to get visual ideas from a visiting book illustrator.

Some staff joined in the fun by dressing up too.

Head Matthew Montebellow said: “It was wonderful to see all the children dressed up as book characters.

“Thank you to all the parents for helping with this and for coming in early to read with the children.

“Thank you also to Friends of Northiam School for organising refreshments and for running the book stall. Everyone enjoyed the day.”
