Under new leadership and supported by the Rye Academy Trust, the school has been transformed, with results now above the national average.

All teaching is graded good or above and the roll is rising rapidly. The school now has a newly designed outside area for the reception class and a Forest School set in over half an acre of woodland.

“The school has been well supported by the Rye Academy Trust this year as well as by the Local Authority. Luke has worked brilliantly with all of our wonderful staff to achieve this and our school is buzzing.

“Parents and carers are very involved and there is a strong sense of community. Governors are thrilled with the progress and the exciting future that lies ahead.”

The future looks bright for the school as it continues to build on its success and further develop its facilities.

One exciting example is the new Forest School, an area of woodland donated by the Diocese of Chichester and joined to the school, in which all pupils spend an afternoon each week undertaking a range of thrilling activities including fire lighting, den building, wildlife conservation and forest management.
