SUPER singing voices were heard at a musical performance of Alice in Wonderland at Hawkes Farm Primary School in Hailsham.

Year Six celebrated the end of happy days at Hawkes Farm and their big move to secondary schools this September with a rounsing rendition of songs.

Year Five also took part in the big performance in front of parents, carers and teachers on Monday, July 9.

Chris Wright, teacher of Year Six, said: “They all worked extremely hard and it was a wonderful performance, and the show went like a dream.”

The original tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was a novel written in 1865 by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson – known as Lewis Carroll.

The story is about how a girl called Alice falls down a rabbit hole and discovers a fantasy world with strange creatures - encountering many adventures during her time there.
