School presents Tales of a 
Travelling Troupe

Claremont pupils recently presented a medieval extravaganza at Claremont Senior School’s summer venue, Bodiam Castle.

Year 7 pupils circulated and entertained the audience as medieval lords, ladies, peasants, thieves, acrobats, merchants and friars prior to the Senior School production of Tales of a Travelling Troupe.

Senior pupils in Years 9 to 11, who are part of the school’s SPACE Theatre Company, produced a completely original script, based on Aesop’s Fables.

One pupil commented, “The setting made it all feel so real, once we put on our costumes we were transformed into medieval people, just like we’d gone back in time.”
