The event called ‘Leechfest’ will celebrate the talents of pupils, parents and staff, all backed by the ‘house band’ of five Leechpool dads (5D).

It is being held to raise money to build a dedicated music room for the school.

The format of the event will be a concert of about 33 acts including over 50 solo/small group performers and the whole school choir, while creating a festival vibe with small tents and gazebos, a barbecue, beer/Pimms tent, children’s entertainment, picnic rugs and more.

Despite it being the first time the school will be holding this event with an awful lot to organise, the school are hopeful it will grow and become an annual event.
