School’s new look is a hit

A NEW hi-spec development at Downsbrook Middle School has ‘made the school a better place to be’ for both students and staff.

The school’s new wing includes modern classrooms for year seven students, a music room, cookery suite, IT room and a large group area for year sevens.

Jonathan Grover, the school’s head teacher, said: “We are very proud of our school, especially our new facilities. Its modern hi-spec classrooms will allow children to enjoy learning. It provides us with specialist opportunities for our children in terms of IT and food technology.”

The development cost more than £2 million and was funded by West Sussex County Council.
