Sculptor Philip Jackson hosts charity event

For the sixth year running internationally renowned sculptor Philip Jackson and his wife Jean are throwing open their garden at Casters Brook in Cocking in aid of the Murray Downland Trust on Saturday May 14 from 11am-3.30pm.

Mr Jackson will be giving a guided tour of his sculptures and John Humphris, the well known garden expert will be on hand to answer gardening queries.

There will be beekeeping demonstrations and plants, preserves and home-made produce on sale as well as lunches and cream teas.

The Murray Downland Trust maintains and enhances the reserves on areas of the Downs. The nearest is at Heyshott.
