NEWHAVEN LIFEBOAT: Are having a Open Day tomorrow, Saturday, at the Lifeboat House, Riverside, West Quay, Newhaven from 10am to 4pm. Come along and learn more about your local lifeboat and discover ways you can help either as a volunteer crew member or a part of the Fundraising Team.

BOOK FAIR: Organised by the Seaford U3A at St Leonard’s Church Hall, Church Lane from 10am to noon tomorrow, Saturday. Bring and Buy Book Fair, coffee morning and programme launch. Find out what’s on offer and how to become a member of U3A.

CREAM TEA: At Bishopstone Parish Hall tomorrow, Saturday, from 2.30pm to 4pm. There will be a raffle and bric-a-brac for sale. All proceeds to Christian Aid.

ART EXHIBITION: Solstice by Sussex Arts Collective at Arts@theCrypt, 23 Church Street starting tomorrow, Saturday, until Sunday July 3, 11am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and noon to 3pm on Sunday’s. Celebrate the best of local art and craft and the summer solstice with the collective at their summer exhibition.

MEETING: Access in Seaford and Newhaven Committee, Monday the monthly meeting starting at 6.30pm at SeeAbility, Bradbury Centre, St Peter’s Road. The committee aims to improve facilities for disabled people disadvantaged by an inaccessible environment. Chair of the Access Committee, Zena Gibbs, was one of four individuals to receive a Seaford Mayor’s Award in May for helping support and enrich the town. Interested in attending Access Meetings?
