Seaford College pupils see how their money is spent

SEAFORD College pupils were given a tour of the Stonepillow hostel at Chichester after presenting the charity with a cheque for £775.

Pupils from Walled Garden West House raised the money from two sponsored runs, a fancy dress walk and two boarders film nights.

Housemaster Matthew Pitteway and house prefects were shown round by director of the charity Sylvie Johnston to see how their money would be spent.

Mt Pitteway said: “Stonepillow was chosen as our charity of the term as it is a local charity providing vital support to the most vulnerable people in our society. It was fascinating to see the hostel and to hear about the work and efforts of this charity.
