Caught strutting their stuff on the catwalk last Thursday (October 10) were Seaford Lionesses and their friends and relations.
They held a Charity Fashion Show at Seaford Golf Club promoting M & Co’s autumn and winter lines and members of staff and their families modelled casual outfits in the first half.
Models covered a wide age range, from toddlers to grannies, and many different shapes and sizes, giving the audience a feel of how the clothes looked on real people.
In the second half there was lots of glitter and glitz, as more formal and party outfits were displayed.
During the interval coffee was served and a raffle held, with prizes including jewellery donated by Zara, High Street, Seaford.
There was also a stall by Kim Rennie, (Foam & Fabric Shop, Broad Street, Seaford), selling handmade toys and other craft items.
It is expected about £500 will be raised and some will go to M & Co’s charity of the year, Cancer Research UK, some to LIBRA, Lions International’s Blood Research charity and the rest to the Lionesses’ charity trust which supports many local groups and individuals in need.
The Lionesses thanked Matt and his staff at M & Co for making the whole thing possible and for all their hard work bringing it all together on the night.
Seahaven Lioness Club was formed in 1993. Members meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Old Plough, Church Street.
