Seafront flat fire - reader pictures
FIRE ripped through a seafront family home in Worthing on Sunday afternoon.
More than 50 firefighters tackled the blaze in a fourth-floor, two-bedroomed flat in Heene Terrace after reports were received of flames coming from the window.
Eyewitnesses rushed to send in their photos of the dramatic scene to the Herald newsdesk, such as these images by Herald readers Trevor Staff and Peter Allan, a Heene Terrace resident.
