Search is on for best pie

That's the challenge from The Sportsman in Sackville Road where the title for Bexhill best baker will be fiercely contested this weekend.

Everyone is welcome to enter the competition but the rules must be adhered to -

- pastry top and bottom, no flans, pasties or sausage rolls allowed

- only one pie per entrant

- pie can be of any size or shape as long as it is within the definition.

All entries must be brought in by 2pm on Sunday August 29 and judging will be at 4pm.
