It was a great result £300 plus on the day and £100 in donations. It was so good to see people enjoying refreshments and chatting, everyone agreed it was a great atmosphere. Sedlescombe and District Gardening society will be staging their summer show in the marquee on the day and the Friends of Sedlescombe Church will be serving the refreshments from the Sports pavilion as in 2016. Debra Veith will once again be heading up the team along with Jan Heap as treasurer and myself to help with the organisation of the day. An official secretary would be helpful to keep us all updated as we move along with more interested people to ensure that Sedlescombe has a family day to remember in 2017. So if you think you could offer some of your time and services or would like to know more then please get in touch with Debra on [email protected] 01424 870914.
