HAPPY NEW YEAR: As we come towards the end of 2014, many of us will think back over the year and try to decide what has been good or bad for us and the people we love. Some of us may even make resolutions to try and change some of those things that we think we might be able to change. So,however you will be spending the New Year, I hope that after the celebrations, you will have the determination and good health to carry forward your plans and make 2015 a good year for you and for those around you.

VILLAGE GREEN: Around the village green has been looking especially beautiful this year , thanks to the local businesses, the Queens Head, the Brickwall Hotel, Sedlescombe Village Stores and the Clockhouse Hair and Beauty Studio who have all gone that extra mile to create this. This coupled with the wandering famous Sedlescombe geese has made a really festive atmosphere for us all to enjoy.

COFFEE MORNING: Start the new year meeting up with your friends for a coffee or tea, cheese scone or cake on Thursday January 7 in Sedlescombe village hall from 10.00am to 11.30am. There will be all your usual stalls to enjoy. All proceeds to benefit St John the Baptist church. For more details of the friendly event please contact 870808
