Talking of theatre, what a fantastic production by our own Sedlescombe Players we were treated to all last week at the village hall. They pulled off a very highly skilled performance night after night of “Guys and Dolls”. Months and months of rehearsals had taken place to achieve this high standard , and it was certainly a case of practice makes perfect as Tara Buchanan triumphed again as director pulling together these talented members, on and off stage, transforming the hall and entertaining sell out audiences every night. There are so many elements that go to make a production work, acting, music, lighting, sound, stage sets, costumes, front of house and more and it was a real pleasure to see it all come together. Well done to everyone involved and we patiently wait, after you have had a chance to get your breath back, for your next production planned for January 2015.

If you were inspired by the recent Sedlescombe players production and think you would like to join the group either on or off stage , you can visit their website www.sedlescombeplayers.co.uk or contact Tara on 01424 870694 or email [email protected]
