Mrs Ham sends news from Sedlescombe CE Primary School:

Following on from our wonderful Ofsted Inspection in March, I am pleased to be able to share with you our ‘Outstanding’ Diocese Inspection result too. This second Inspection took place towards the end of March, and we were graded outstanding in all categories. We are delighted with the comments of the Inspector such as: “There is a strong Christian ethos of care that is reflected in all areas of school life. Children are seen as special; their care, safety and well-being are paramount. Children’s behaviour is excellent. Collective Worship is an important part of school life which strongly supports the Christian character of the school and the chldren’s spiritual development. The impressive level of leadership and managemnet provided by the headteacher, leadership team and governing body contributes significantly to the success of the school. Parents report that they love the school, and one parent said ‘This is a school that listens’.” You can read the full Ofsted and Diocesan Inspection reports - they are on our Learning Platform (www.sedlescombecep.e-sussex.sch.uk , click on the tab on the left side of the homepage, named inspection reports. We are feeling very happy and proud of the whole school community.
