Today’s Red Nose Day (Friday March 13) marks the 30 year anniversary of Comic Relief, with people of all ages donning the traditional red nose for the charity.

The theme for this year’s fundraiser is ‘make your face funny for money’ urging people to paint and decorate their faces for donations.

This year, Sainsbury’s have released nine different red noses which can be found in special ‘nose in a bag’ packs.

Schools from across the county will be hosting their own Comic Relief events, with primary schools encouraging face painting and red clothes for the day.
