Serious collision in Bexhill
Emergency services are on scene at a serious collision in Bexhill this afternoon (Saturday).
An air ambulance has been called to the area and Hastings Road has been closed after the incident which is said to have happened near Bexhill College and the Sandown Way junction.
According to a police officer at the scene, the car hit a tree.
They said the casualty, a woman, had been thrown from the vehicle.
She has been flown to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
