Serious crash on Long Furlong bend
EMERGENCY vehicles were at the scene of a serious crash on the A280 Long Furlong road tonight (October 5).
A lorry appeared to have overturned on a sharp bend half a mile north of Patching village near the junction with Long Furlong Lane.
Driving conditions were poor, in heavy rain and with some flooding on the road.
Several police cars were at the scene at about 10.25pm, with more emergency vehicles, including ambulances, arriving shortly afterwards.
