Seven fire engines called to scrapyard blaze near Billingshurst
Seven fire engines were called to a blaze involving 200 tonnes of scrap metal near Billingshurst, according to the fire service.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) said crews tackled the fire at a scrapyard in Adversane Lane at around 11.10pm last night (Friday, June 3).
Crews were at the incident until 6.54am this morning, according to WSFRS.

Hide AdA spokesperson said, “Seven fire engines plus the Command and Support Unit from Haywards Heath, aerial ladder platform from Guildford and water carrier from Petworth were called.”
