Severe flooding at Selsey East Beach carpark

Chichester District Council workmen are tackling flooding in the East Beach car park at Selsey.

The pond overflowed into the car park in heavy rain raising concerns that a culvert at the back of a nearby garden would block and flood onto the land.

A spokesman for Chichester District Council told the Observer this week (December 17) work would be underway to clear the car park.
