POLICE are appealing for information after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted in public toilets.

The 14-year-old was followed into the block near Lancing Methodist Church in South Street, Lancing.

He felt uncomfortable and left, but returned a short while later.

Once again, the man followed him and tried to strike up a conversation, before carrying out the sexual assault. The victim was unhurt, but was shocked and upset.

The attacker was elderly and thin with a light sun tan. He had short white hair and wore thin-framed glasses, green shorts and a long-sleeved blue jumper with a logo.
