Sex shop owner Kathleen Sutton has applied to stay open in Bognor Regis for another year.
Ms Sutton has asked Arun District Council to renew the premises licences for her Secret Desires branch in Lyon Street West. Her application has come a year after the council granted her permission to open the first sex shop in the town.
She opened the outlet for the most sexually explicit DVDs legally available, magazines and sex toys last summer. Under the council's rules, she has to reapply every year for permission to enable the shop to continue to serve customers.
