Shannon and Isabella win Herald and Gazette palace competition

TWO delighted schoolgirls were named the winners in the Paint and Palace for the Queen competition.

Michael Jones estate and lettings agents ran the competition with the Herald and Gazette calling on schoolchildren to design a palace for the Queen to celebrate her diamond jubilee in. We had more than 2,500 entries which were whittled down to a top-10 before readers cast their votes.

Shannon Tulley, aged nine, from Clapham and Patching Primary School, won the eight-12 year category, and Isabella Morley, aged seven, from Whytemead First School, Worthing, won the four-seven category. Shannon won a family day out in London, including a tour of Buckingham Palace. Isabella won a sightseeing Duckboat tour in London.
