Speaking after the meeting Greg said: "Not only was I pleased to join residents for tea, it also provided a valuable opportunity to keep up to date with the issues effecting Rother Homes Residents."

Mike Thomas agreed to liase with tenants over the future of Lawrence House and what improvements can be made.

Earlier this year residents of Auckland House, Wrestwood Road, complained charge increases were unfairly out of proportion with their pension rise.

Rother Homes explained the higher charges, saying they had for the first time been calculated on the actual cost of providing the services.
