Shop window performance
BUSKING duo Bling Crosby raised more than £600 for St Michael’s Hospice when they performed in Rye over the weekend wearing a ballgown and dinner suit.
Hundreds of passers-by stopped and sang along as Alain Du Sel, from Rye and Ellie Laine, from Stone-in-Oxney, staged 10 street shows even playing in the window of the St Michael’s Hospice shop. Ellie said: “Passers-by looked so surprised to see us in the window, it was hilarious.”
