Shoplifting suspect wanted

Police are trying to trace Malcolm Smith, 35, (pictured) who is wanted for breaching conditions of a court order and suspected shoplifting in Rye.

Breaches include a requirement to live at approved premises in Portsmouth.

Formerly from Hastings, he is believed to be in East Sussex and is suspected of two recent shoplifting offences in Rye.

It is thought he may have been travelling on trains between Rye and Hastings.

Smith is described as white, 6’, of slim build and with a shaven head.
