Shoreham lifeboat launched to save two people on yacht

Shoreham Lifeboat crews helped rescue two people from a yacht on Friday (June 19).

In a tweet, RNLI Shoreham Lifeboat Station said its lifeboat was launched to assist RNLI Selsey lifeboat which had towed a yacht with two people on board, one who was sick and injured, to Shoreham.

A spokesman said: “The crew took the two casualties off the yacht to be checked by a medic before towing the vessel into the harbour.”
