He is touring with his show ‘No Further Action’ and appeared for the first of two nights at the Horsham venue yesterday evening.

However after the show, on social media site Twitter he wrote: “Funny old night in Horsham. No mike no lights no crew no interval 90 minutes straight through and then told them they could have a refund.”

He has since retweeted a number of messages criticising the Capitol, but added this afternoon: “All sorted for tonight, the show must go on.”

A spokesperson for Horsham District Council said: “We see from social media that many people enjoyed the first night of Jim Davidson at The Capitol.

“We hope that everyone with a ticket for tonight’s show will also enjoy themselves. We look forward to seeing everyone later, the show starts at 7.30pm.”
