The Memorial Hall drew attention for many wonderful exhibits and displays on show which included Blackboys and Framfield Primary Schools, Uckfield Dolls House Club, Harry Wells' Bonsai Trees and the Crawley Orchid Society.

The dog show attracted over 200 entrants, some beautifully coiffed and turned out and some quite wet and muddy.

The Warbleton and Buxted Band played on, competing at times with claps of thunder and Mr Uckfield himself, George Saunders, carried on regardless of the rain.
