Julia Carrette, chief officer, explained: “The Voluntary Action Worthing AGM will include an exhibition of voluntary and community action, alongside special presentations from Esteem Youth Group, Men in Sheds, Diverse Community Equality Services and Circus Seen.

“So, you will hear of young people being helped to make good changes in their lives, older men creating practical products out of recycled wood, how diverse communities are engaging in local life and the health benefits of juggling, hoola hoop and fire dancing.

“There will also be our own presentation of our work and the chance to network with and talk to a wide range of other voluntary, community and social enterprise groups; all this plus refreshments.”

All charity and voluntary groups are welcome to take along displays. Visit www.vaworthing.org.uk/events/the-vaw-agm to book a place, call 01903 528620 or email [email protected].
