Replacement buses were requested to operate between Chichester and Havant seving the normal replacement bus stops at Fishbourne, Bosham, Nutbourne, Southbourne, Emsworth and Warblington.

Although some lines were reopened earlier, the impact has been that train services have been delayed by up to 35 minutes or suspended between Chichester and Havant.

This has had a knock-on effect to services through the Arun Valley up to London and east to Brighton.
