Silver song club seeks new members

THE SILVER Song Club is looking for new members to join it's free sing-a-long and social afternoons, which are held at the St Peter's Community Centre in Bexhill's Old Town.

Organiser, Sue Hollands said that since the club started eighteen months ago it has proved very popular with local residents, and there are regularly between twenty five and thirty people who attend.

Sue explained that the sing-a-long, which is aimed at older people, is open to everyone, and is held on the third Monday of every month commencing at 2pm.

Sue said: "The classes are mentally stimulating and last for about and hour and a half. In addition to the singing there are gentle music to movement exercises."

She added: "There's no charge, it's completely free so just turn up and sing for your life!"

The next sing-a-long is on Monday March 16th.
