Norah celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, at the care home, in Shelley Road, Worthing, together with staff and her daughter, Gwenda.
Gwenda said: “She’s an extremely clever lady, and loved painting, sewing, and things like that.
“She also loved singing, and still sings today. It comforts her. When she is unhappy, she sings.”
Norah was born in London, but has lived in East Preston and Worthing for more than 30 years.
She had two children, along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Activities co-ordinator at Berkeley Lodge, Elaine Shelton, said Norah was up-and-down the corridors all day in her wheelchair, and continued to surprise staff with her energy.
She said: “She is an amazing lady, and she keeps everybody in high spirits with her singing.”
Senior carer Graham Cheal added: “Norah has a lovely personality, and she is going up and down the corridors all the time in her wheelchair.
“She is marvellous, always has a smile on her face, and is always singing away.”
