Year 7 students at Ringmer Community College took part in a Rotary Club of Lewes Castle project in aid of Chailey Heritage at a special assembly.

More than 100 students performed the ‘Sing to Save’ hymn, each raising £1 towards a wheelchair guidance system for young people with complex needs.

Local couple Brenda and Michael Moore sadly lost their son when he died at the age of 39 in 2010.

He had orchestrated ‘Sing to Save’, which had been written by his mother to combat polio.
