Rugby fun will be on offer at the Martlets Shopping Centre in Burgess Hill on Saturday (February 6) to celebrate the 2016 Six Nations competition and the England v Scotland match taking place that afternoon.

From 11am until 4pm, members of the Burgess Hill Rugby Football Club will be entertaining shoppers with mini demos and master classes.

Throughout the day a face painter will be on hand to help shoppers show their support for their team by painting flags and team emblems onto their faces. Visitors will later be able to watch the match at the centre’s resident bar, Pulse 2.

Centre manager Ian Goodridge said:“The Six Nations is one of the biggest international competitions in rugby and I am so pleased that we are able to help support it. It’s fantastic to be able to welcome the local rugby team and I hope this will encourage more local youngsters to take up the fantastic sport this year.”
