There was a celebratory atmosphere under the big top as Roger Wilcock and his ensemble delivered a varied selection of evocative and powerful music with the highly accomplished Medway Band of brass and percussionists

The 150 strong Hastings BIG Choir celebrated the life and recent loss of local politician Jeremy Birch with a rendition of‘You Raise Me Up’ which was a favourite of the Councillor.

The musical line-up also celebrated the celebration of the 70th anniversary of VE Day.
